The PIOB has released new quarterly oversight publications that provide valuable insights into how the PIOB identifies Public Interest Issues and carries out its oversight work.
These publications include:
The Briefing Memos to support the PIOB Observers attending the December 2024 IESBA and IAASB meetings, the Observation Memos prepared by PIOB Observers to provide a summary of matters of public interest and due process concerning the standards discussed during these meetings, and the updated Public Interest Issues for the IAASB and the IESBA projects, following the most recent PIOB meeting in January 2025.
